Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026
This policy explains what information RefiLoft ("we," "us") collects on refiloft.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. RefiLoft is a free service that connects people with licensed lending partners. We are not a lender.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our questionnaire, we collect your answers about the loan you're looking for, which can include your home's estimated value, how much you owe, your credit range, and your goals. We also collect your name, phone number, email address, and the ZIP code of the property.
Information collected automatically. When you visit, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the website or ad that sent you here, and similar usage information. We use cookies and similar technologies to do this.
How we use your information
- To connect you with lending partners who can help with your request
- To contact you, or have our partners contact you, by phone, text, or email about your request, as you agreed when you submitted the form
- To run, secure, and improve this site
- To measure how well our advertising works
- To comply with the law and protect our rights
How we share your information
- Lending partners. We share the information you submit with our lending partners so a licensed loan officer can contact you. Our partners may pay us for this. Once a partner has your information, its own privacy policy applies to how it uses it.
- Service providers. Companies that help us run the site, such as hosting, data storage, email, and analytics providers, only for the services they provide to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners. Companies such as Google and Meta may collect information about your visit through cookies or similar technologies to measure and improve our ads.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If RefiLoft is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that deal.
Because our lending partners may pay us when we share your information, this sharing may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some state privacy laws. You can opt out as described below.
Your choices
- Calls and texts. Reply STOP to any text, or tell the caller you don't want more calls. You can also email us.
- Access, correction, and deletion. Email us to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it.
- Opt out of sharing. Email us to ask that we stop sharing your information with lending partners. This does not undo sharing that already happened.
- Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights. We will respond to requests as those laws require, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
How long we keep information
We keep your information as long as we need it to provide our service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes, and then delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee the security of information you send us.
Children
This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
